About the Owner: Brent Hollingsead

Color Masters is owned and led by Brent Hollingsead, a Colorado-based artist, designer, and creative director with over two decades of experience working at the intersection of craft, aesthetics, and execution.

Brent’s background is intentionally different from the traditional painting path—and it’s what defines Color Masters.

Before founding the company, Brent built a career as a fine artist and graphic designer, creating large-scale murals, exhibiting public artwork, and developing visual systems where color, balance, and surface mattered deeply. That artistic foundation trained him to see paint not as a commodity, but as a material with emotional, spatial, and functional impact.

In parallel, Brent ran a creative agency, managing contractors, production teams, vendors, and complex timelines for commercial clients. Budget control, scheduling discipline, and quality assurance were non-negotiable—skills that translate directly into well-run residential and commercial painting projects today.
